The Abbey Lodge Hotel is a comfortable budget hotel located only 10 minutes walk from the beach and the town centre with it's many pubs clubs and restaurants. All rooms at The Abbey Lodge are en-suite and all have teacoffee making facilities. Our 24 hour reception means there is always someone to help if you need assistance as well as allowing for late check ins. The affordable accommodation offered by The Abbey Lodge is ideally suited to backpackers students contractors and the budget minded traveller. The hotel has a large music bar which often hosts free live music evenings. The live music will always finish by 11.30pm but if you are looking for a hotel where you can retire to bed early then The Abbey Lodge may not be the best choice for you. The bar also has 2 pool tables and many large screen plasma televisions for your entertainment making it the perfect place to start and finish your night. We welcome group bookings and during the weekend the hotel is very popular with Stag and Hen parties. Due to being in a bad reception area not all rooms have TV.Please note that due to demand we can only accommodate two night stays at weekends between April and September.

Cancellation Terms

A credit card is required to secure the reservation.There wil be no cancellation charge if the booking is cancelled before 10.00 am GMT 5 days before the date of the arrival. If the booking cancelled later or in case of a no-show then the first night will be charged. As of 08032010 the hotel will lo longer accept bookings from stag and hen groups and companies they have to contact us directly. Between April and September we only accommodate 2 night stays at weekends (Fri-Sat).
