TAKE THE M 5 TO EXETER THEN FOLLOW THE SIGNS FOR OKEHAMPTON A30.STAY ON THE DUAL CARRIAGEWAY FOR APPROXIMATELY 1 HOUR. YOU WILL PASS OKEHAMPTON LAUNCESTON AND BODMIN. YOU WILL SEE A TURNING FOR FRADDON GRAMPOUND ROAD and B3275 AT BOTTOM OF HILL OPPOSITE MacDONALDS TURN LEFT HERE AND THEN RIGHT IN ABOUT 500yds. STRAIGHT ACROSS NEXT CROSSROAD (NO SIGNPOST) TO GRAMPOUND ROAD (5.6mls) THROUGH VILLAGE AND 1.7mls TO MAIN A390. TURN LEFT THROUGH GRAMPOUND AND TO TOP OF HILL (1.6mls) AT TOP OF HILL TURN RIGHT (NO SIGNPOST BUT CELTIC CROSS ON BANK) STAY ON THIS ROAD FOR 1.6mls WHEN YOU WILL SEEA TURNING ON THE LEFT SIGNPOSTED TO POLMASSICK VINEYARD (BROWN SIGN) AND CAERHAYS 3 MILES.FOLLOW THIS ROAD FOR ABOUT 3 MILES. DO NOT TURN LEFT TO ST EWE OR POLMASSICK. THE ROAD IS NARROW AND WINDING IN PLACES. YOU WILL EVENTUALLY COME TO AN S BEND KNOWN LOCALLY AS FIVE TURNINGS. IGNORE THE TURNINGS TO TUBBS MILL (1ST LEFT) ST MAWES (1ST RIGHT) AND PORTHOLLAND (2ND RIGHT) AND KEEP STRIAGHT ON. AFTER ABOUT HALF A MILE YOU WILL GO THROUGH CAERHAYS VILLAGE. THE CHURCH ST MICHAEL CAERHAYS IS ON THE LEFT AND THERE ARE EIGHT COTTAGES HOUSES ON THE RIGHT. JUST PAST THE LAST COTTAGE YOU WILL SEE THE TELEPHONE KIOSK THE ENTRANCE TO THE VEAN IS OPPOSITE THIS.
